Replacement parts, made from your broken original

3D Printed Replacement Car Interior Parts

A small plastic clip, latch or vent tab broke, and the dealer only sells it inside a full assembly, or not at all. Send us the broken part or a 3D file, and we make it again in tough SLS nylon, printed in-house in Michigan and shipped anywhere in the US.

Two ways to get your part

    From your broken part

Tell us about the part and ship us the pieces. We scan it in-house, rebuild it as a clean CAD model, strengthen the spot that broke, and print new copies.

You get a fixed price within one business day, before any work starts.

    Parts we make

    Good candidates

    • HVAC vent tabs, louvers and linkages
    • Center console and armrest latches
    • Cupholder doors, spring housings and inserts
    • Glove box hinges, latches and stops
    • Interior trim clips and retainers
    • Sun visor clips and mounts
    • Knobs, bezels and switch surrounds
    • Seat trim covers and plastic brackets

    What we will not print

Anything that keeps people safe or the car under control: brake, seatbelt, airbag and steering parts, suspension and load-bearing parts, and anything under the hood or near fuel.

If you are not sure about a part, send us a photo and we will tell you honestly.

Why nylon, not a hobby print

Keeps its shape in a parked car in summer, where PLA prints soften and warp.

Flexes and springs back, so clips and latches snap in without cracking.

Dyed black for a factory-like look, with no layer lines or support marks.

    Replacement car parts FAQ

Can you make a car part from my broken original?

Yes. Ship us the broken part (all the pieces, even if it snapped). We scan it in-house, rebuild it as a clean CAD model, fix the weak spot that broke, and print new copies. You get a fixed price within one business day before any work starts.

What car parts can be 3D printed?

Interior trim and hardware that does not hold anyone in place or stop the car: vent tabs and louvers, clips, console and armrest latches, cupholder parts, glove box hinges and latches, trim bezels, knobs, covers and brackets. We do not print brakes, seatbelt or airbag parts, steering parts, or anything under the hood.

Will a printed part survive a hot car?

We print car interior parts in SLS nylon (PA12), not the PLA used by most hobby printers. Nylon keeps its shape in a parked car in summer and flexes where a brittle print would crack. For parts near a windshield or heater vent we can also suggest glass-filled nylon.

How much does a replacement part cost?

Printing a small nylon part usually costs far less than a dealer assembly. If you already have a 3D file, upload it for an instant price. If we need to scan and rebuild the part first, that design work is quoted per part and you approve the price before we start. Once the model exists, more copies are just the print price.

I already have an STL or STEP file. What do I do?

Upload it on the quote page, choose SLS nylon (black dye is available), and order. No account or sales call needed.

    How long does it take?

Printing ships in about 5 business days on our standard speed, with faster options at checkout. If we are rebuilding the part from your original, add the design time we quote you, usually a few days for a simple clip or latch.
